> Outdoor advertising, also known as Outside Of Home (OOH, is any ad reaching consumers outside         their homes.

> Outdoor advertising can be placed along highways, near stores or educational institutions, on mobile     billboards, almost anywhere the law permits.

> While billboards are the most popular form of outdoor ads, digital out-of-home advertising is the             fastest growing one.

> Although outdoor advertising is at times susceptible to damage by harsh weather and vandalism,           generally it is a highly effective way to-

(1) Build brand awareness.
(2) Boost visibility.
(3) Drive sales especially for local businesses.

> The success of outdoor advertising campaigns depends mainly on factors like location, duration, ad     dimensions, and the visuals of the ad like how you make a logo, imagery, font and color though the         location is considered by many to be the single most important factor.

> A good outdoor advertising campaign delivers the right message, at the right time and place, to the       right audience.

> The advertising is highly targeted and relevant in terms of location, demographics, consumer                    behavior and part of the day.
