Server Administration (Windows & Linux):
π Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File, and Web Services.
π Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control to ensure a secure and stable environment.
π Perform regular system patching, updates, and hardening to maintain compliance and minimize vulnerabilities.
System Monitoring & Optimization:
π Monitor server performance, uptime, and resource utilization using tools such as, Zabbix, or Nagios.
π Analyze system logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and apply optimization techniques to enhance efficiency.
π Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansion to support organizational growth.
Virtualization & Storage Management:
π Deploy and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
π Configure and maintain storage systems, ensuring redundancy, scalability, and optimal performance.
π Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.
Security & Compliance:
π Apply system hardening standards and manage security configurations to reduce risks.
π Respond to and resolve vulnerability assessments (VA) from the Group Security Consultant.
π Participate in security investigations and maintain proper documentation of remediation actions.
Automation & Scripting:
π Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline administrative tasks.
π Implement scheduled jobs and scripts to monitor services, automate patching, and enforce system policies.
System Maintenance & Support:
π Provide technical support for server-related incidents and system maintenance activities.
π Manage system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change records.
π Handle IT asset management, hardware lifecycle, and equipment movement as per policy.
